Vision HD was born out of a personal need. Having a webcam that was capable of producing widescreen, high definition video and not being able to record it proved to be a head scratcher... Vision HD will allow you record in the native aspect of your Quicktime compatible webcam or video camera. You can always record in standard (4:3) aspect ratio. If your webcam supports widescreen (16:9) you will be able to record in native 16:9 aspect. Vision HD gives you the choice of formats to record your video to. You can choose from: Lion: Video - h.264 Audio - AAC Both formats are fully supported by iMovie and the rest of the Apple video editing family of products. Vision HD aims to be simple in design to allow for any user to easily record video from their webcam in formats that will allow you as a user to easily import your video into iMovie or your favorite Apple video editing product.
